Lina graduated in literature at the ‘University of Padua’ and later graduated at the ‘Academy of Beautiful Arts’ in Venice. From 1975 and 1985 she took part in exhibitions of various groups of artists at the ‘Galleria Bevilacqua La Masa’ in Venice.
In this same gallery, in 1978, she held her first solo show.
In 1983 she exhibited in Pordenone and Venice and then in 1985 and 1987 in Treviso. In 1989 she exhibited in the studio of Giosetta Fioroni in Rome for whom she has a friendship link.
She has participated in numerous exhibitions in Stuttgart, Berlin, Ljubljana, Paris, Neuchatel, Palermo, Rome, Venice, Florence, Ferrara, Vicenza and in many other Italian cities.
Since 1987 she has been working with the ‘Teatro dei Sensibili’ by Guido Ceronetti ( a famous writer, international poet and journalist for ‘La Stampa’ of Turin).
She also worked for a period in the studio of Mario Schifano with whom she collaborated on the design of the opera ‘La Norma’ by Bellini and for some limited edition of etchings for collectors.
Furthermore, in 1990, she exhibited her works with Marion Schifano and Giosetta Fioroni.
In the eighties, she weaved an artistic partnership with the writer and journalist Goffredo Parise and with the poet Andrea Zanzotto, working on illustrations of some of their works.
In connection with the foregoing, Lina Sari worked as a teacher at the ‘Liceo Artistico Statale’ in Treviso, teaching for twenty-five years, during which she organized exhibitions with publications and teaching activities as an artistic guidance in the major national museums of Italy and Europe.
Commissioned by a famous advertising agency in the area of Pordenone, she designs catalogues and international display stands in Italy and some major foreign companies ( Val Kitchen, Nice, New Systems etc ).
She has worked on the creation of graphic record covers for various music authors.
She illustrates for the calendar of ‘Fonopoli’ by Renato Zero for the gallery of Novana in Rome.
She collaborates with the publisher ‘Tallone’ of Turin, for precious volumes and limited editions for connoisseurs d’art.
She lends her works for the implementation of numerous posters and book covers including, last in the series, an edition for the ‘Univerisity Of Illinois’ by Andrea Zanzotto dedicated to Federico’s Fellini’s film ‘Casanova’.
In March 1998, the poet Guido Ceronetti, presented a solo exhibition of Lina Sari, dedicated to her adopted child who had recently arrived in Italy.
A few days before the opening of a person of Pordenone, SEMAINEN, presented by the poet Andrea Zanzotto, profoundly marking her life.
She use various materials and art techniques like painting, drawings, ceramics, graphics, installations and video art.
